During María’s two-year stint at Bridge For Billions, a social enterprise that wants to democratize access to quality entrepreneurship worldwide, she discovered her aptitude for front-end development and entrepreneurship as vehicles to affect positive change. From there, she set her sight on Vizzuality. 

María also has her fair share of experience in the NGO world, she even founded her own non-profit. After running two successful projects, she was keen to explore the startup and SME scene. 

Just as María aims for great heights professionally, she does the same in her private life. An avid alpinist, she enjoys taking in the mountains’ glory while hiking or climbing, and she also partakes in circus sports such as aerial skills and slacklining. Once she returns to the ground, she likes to read, handcraft macramé jewelry, and bake bread.
